- Stop rock chips on a car driven daily on I-45 and 99
- Keep the deep gloss of the factory metallic paint
- Self-healing finish that shrugs off wash swirls
How we approached it
The owner commutes The Woodlands to downtown daily and had already collected two chips on the hood edge in the first six months. That corridor throws debris constantly, and repainting a metallic hood is both expensive and never quite a perfect match.
Full front coverage stopped the problem at the source. Two years of that commute now lands on film that heals itself instead of on paint that does not.
Results
- Full front paint protection film applied with wrapped edges
- Light swirls in the film self-heal in the Texas sun
- Gloss and color depth visually unchanged from bare paint
